of the workings of modern diplomacy, foreign policy, policy analysis, law of war, law of the sea, etc.

to deal with refugee/IDPS issues and other forms of disasters always associated with civil
wars, armed insurgency, international wars and man-made/natural disasters.
As a member of this Institute, a person will have the capacity to assist not only the refugees,
our members will have the competencies to help economically fragile and politically unstable
countries to cope with the presence of refugees/IDPS.
Our members will be equipped with the necessary tools to establish an international
understanding that can facilitate a crisis management technique for nipping potential
conflicts and man–made disasters in the bud and preventing them from exploding.
As our member, a person will be better positioned to analyse and proffer solutions to both
potential and real conflict situations. For instance, the current wars going on in Gaza between
Israel and Hamas / Palestine and Russia and Ukraine.
The Institute will prepare its members with good knowledge and understanding of diplomacy
and modern diplomatic practice.
Today, it has been generally agreed that the best way to make Humanitarian Law as effective
as desired is through the creation of massive awareness about its existence, through creation
of multifarious channels for information dissemination. It is only members of the Institute
that can provide that.
The Institute will equip its members with the knowledge and understanding of the basic
principles and practice of rules of modern warfare, social work, consular practice and
Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanisms (ADR).
Membership of the Institute will stimulate knowledge and appreciation of basic humanitarian
practice methodologies and processes.
